President Dr Arif Alvi has called for efforts to deepen and widen the relationship between Pakistan and Iran, particularly in the areas of trade, economy, and people-to-people contacts.
He was talking to Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Iran Mudassir Tipu, who called on him in Islamabad.
The President said Pakistan values it relations with Iran rooted in history, culture and religion.
The Ambassador-designate said that he is determined to further solidify Pakistan-Iran ties in the emerging geopolitical developments.
