
Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has called for converting the agriculture sector into a high-value export engine.
He was chairing the third session of the "Strategic Dialogue Series on Unlocking Pakistan's High-Value Export Potential" in Islamabad today.
Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the need for smart agriculture built on modern technology, weather-resistant seeds, cooperative models and a leading role for the private sector.
He further called for promoting livestock and olive cultivation using scientific and modern methods to boost the country’s economy.
