Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Amjad Hussain has said satellite connectivity in difficult mountain areas, monitoring of glaciers and modern communication system are indispensable for timely response to natural disasters.

Presiding over a meeting, he urged the PTA to play an effective role in providing reliable internet and cellular connectivity in the region.
