November 04, 2026

Minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal inaugurated the Health Complaint Management System in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Minister emphasized that an efficient complaint redressal mechanism is crucial for improving public service delivery and strengthening citizens' trust in the healthcare system.

He said the government's top priority is ensuring transparency and accountability in healthcare while giving a voice to the public.

He said, in its initial phase, Islamabad residents can register healthcare-related complaints by calling the 1166 helpline.

The Minister said, under the new automated system, every complaint will receive a digital tracking number and be immediately routed to the relevant officer for real-time monitoring and follow-up.

Mustafa Kamal said the project will later be expanded nationwide at a cost of 400 million rupees.

He said data generated by the system will also support healthcare surveys, preemptive measures and future policy formulation.
