US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad is on a campaign to garner international support for the Afghan peace talks.                                                      

In a tweet, Zalmay Khalilzad said he is in Turkey where he discussed current developments in the Afghan peace talks with senior Turkish officials.                             

He said after Turkey he will head to Doha, Qatar to see how best all sides could be helped to build on the success of their recent agreement and make quick progress on a political roadmap and permanent and comprehensive ceasefire.
