United States has warned Russia that it will not accept red line set by Moscow as fears mount that Russia is planning an imminent invasion of Ukraine.

In a statement, the US President Joe Biden said he will make it very difficult for Russia to invade its neighbour.

Meanwhile, Russia has dismissed US media reports about a possible Russian attack on Ukraine, accusing Washington of trying to aggravate the situation while blaming Moscow. 

In a statement, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the United States is conducting a special operation to aggravate the situation around Ukraine while shifting the responsibility onto Russia.
