In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned continued Indian brutalities on the Kashmiri people for demanding their internationally-recognized right to self-determination.

In a statement in Srinagar, the spokesman of APHC said around one million occupation troops have been committing grave human rights violations with impunity.

He pointed out that the atrocities have increased manifold since the Modi’s Hindutva government repealed the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 05, 2019.

In a message from New Delhi’s Tihar jail, Illegally detained All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior leader Shabbir Ahmad Shah deplored the Indian authorities’ denial to APHC Chairman Massarat Aalam Butt to attend the funeral of his father-in-law in Srinagar.

He said New Delhi has deprived the Kashmiri political prisoners of the right to join the last rites of their dear ones.

He appealed the international human rights organizations to raise their voice against the Indian government's cruel attitude.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a party function in Kupwara, Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti reiterated her party's commitment to continue their fight for the rights, dignity and identity of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
