Kanwal Shauzab (Leader, PTI): There is no such example in the history of Pakistan that an incumbent Prime Minister went to get vote of confidence from the parliament. Prime Minister Imran Khan is known for his credibility and high moral ground and that is why he is taking such a daring step. PM Imran Khan has no lust for power and his only aim is to fight against the corrupt elements. We, being the workers of PTI, are proud of our leader and optimistic for the success of this honorable man. For the first time in the history of the country, Prime Minister Imran Khan is practicing democracy in its true letter and spirit. None of his family members are in national assembly or senate. Tomorrow we will witness competition between democracy and family-oriented politics. PM Imran Khan is not a traditional politician and has always played on the front foot. Therefore, he will submit himself for a confidence vote. PM Imran Khan is fighting for the future of next generations and will continue to contest the battle between good and evil. PM is determined to ensure that the politics of escapism is buried forever.

Nuzhat Pathan (Leader, PTI): PM Imran Khan is taking a daring step that can only be expected from a bold leader like him. Prime Minister clearly announced that he would remain in power only if the parliamentarians give him vote of confidence. Otherwise, PTI will sit on opposition benches. On the other hand, PML-N leader was convicted in Panama case after found guilty but he is still refusing to accept the verdict. Today, 179 members participated in parliamentary meetings chaired by PM Imran Khan, and all of them expressed confidence over his leadership. Our candidate Fauzia Arshad got 174 votes in senate election which proves that PTI has majority in Upper House of the Parliament. Unfortunately, some parliamentarians sold their loyalties in return of money. We are hopeful that PM Imran Khan will get vote of confidence from the assembly tomorrow. The vote of confidence will be held in an open setting, which means that it will be hard for any PTI lawmaker to openly defy the Prime Minister.

Dr. A. Z. Hilali (IR Expert): Democracy in Pakistan is gaining strength over the passage of time which is a positive development. After the senate elections, Prime Minister himself decided to get Vote of Confidence from the parliament which is courageous decision by a great leader. The vote of confidence will boost confidence of the government. The gesture of the Prime Minister will further strengthen democratic system in the country. The elections reforms were included in the manifesto of PTI government and it is right time to take appropriate measures in this regard. The country is going through a historic battle to establish rule of law. I am hopeful that the requisite support is available and Imran Khan will easily get vote of confidence.
