Punjab government has taken significant measures to control smog and address environmental challenges in the province.

Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said this during a function held on World Environment Day in Lahore today.

She said that unprecedented work has been carried out in the environmental sector during the past two years.

Highlighting the steps taken to protect the environment, Marriyum Aurangzeb said the government installed environmental control systems in over nine thousand industrial units and affixed QR codes on over fourteen thousand brick kilns.
