
Pakistan's Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi visited the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) logistics centre in Kashgar.
During the visit, the ambassador was given a detailed briefing on NLC's cross-border logistics operations and facilities.
Ambassador Khalil Hashmi appreciated the role of NLC in promoting Pakistan-China trade and strengthening connectivity, describing its contribution as commendable.
He noted that the facilities established by NLC in Kashgar and Tashkurgan hold significant importance for bilateral trade between Pakistan and China.
According to the briefing, NLC's logistics centres are facilitating the uninterrupted movement of goods not only to China but also to Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as onward access to global markets.
It was further stated that NLC is playing an active and key role in the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The ambassador was informed that NLC has also established a wholly owned logistics company in China.
Modern transport vehicles operated by NLC are helping further strengthen Pakistan-China trade relations, while its services are contributing to a new dimension in the growing trade connectivity between the two countries.
