President Dr. Arif Alvi says promotion of the Information Technology sector will help in the development of the country.

Addressing an event at University of Engineering and Technology in Peshawar on Friday, he said the rapidly growing IT industry has outclassed the world all over.

He also stressed on the need of Cyber Defence in the country.

He asked Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman to devise a proper strategy to increase the number of IT graduates in the universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
