The 33rd death anniversary of renowned Pakistani playback singer Mala Begum was observed on Monday.

The popular Urdu and Punjabi singer sung more than 300 songs in almost two decades singing career.

Mala was born in Faisalabad, and her real name was Naseem Nazli.

She died on this day in 1990.
