Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has stressed that all the political parties in the parliament should give their suggestions on electoral and judicial reforms.

He was talking to Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The speaker said the opposition parties will be given ample opportunity in the house for detailed discussion on important national matters.

Asad Qaiser said difference of opinion is essence of democracy but on matters of national interests, we have to move forward collectively.

Fawad Chaudhary said responsibility rests with both the government and the opposition to address the matters of national importance through negotiations. He said the opposition should play a proactive role in legislation and electoral reforms.
