Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries, Haroon Akhtar Khan, has said that the government is fully supporting the promotion of local manufacturing and technology.

He was addressing the inauguration ceremony in Lahore today of a project to manufacture electronic products locally by a leading Chinese company.

Haroon Akhtar Khan said that this partnership will promote modern technology in the country and create new job opportunities.

He said that Pakistani industries have the potential to manufacture world-class products.

He said that under the national tariff policy, a conducive environment is being created for investors through lower production costs.
