Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain has expressed Pakistan’s continued commitment to advancing labour rights.

He made the remarks during a meeting with ILO Director-General Gilbert F. Houngbo on the sidelines of the 114th Session of the International Labour Conference (ILC) in Geneva.

The Minister also underscored Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to enhance employment opportunities and improve protections for workers.

The ILO Director General appreciated Pakistan’s constructive engagement with the ILO and welcomed the country’s continued commitment to promoting decent work and advancing social progress.
