Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has called for close coordination among government institutions, local communities, wildlife professionals, hunters and conservation organizations to promote wildlife conservation and responsible hunting.

Addressing a ceremony of the Safari Club International Pakistan Chapter in Islamabad today, he said Pakistan can benefit from international experience while sharing its expertise in wildlife management.

He said responsible and ethical hunting, when conducted lawfully and sustainably, can contribute to conservation and generate meaningful benefits for local communities.

The Acting President also called for transparent and practical policies that take into account the views of all stakeholders.

He expressed hope for stronger international cooperation and contribution to protect Pakistan's wildlife and natural heritage.
