Qatar has urged international community to launch serious collective efforts for rebuilding infrastructure in Afghanistan and helping the Afghan people.

Talking at the "Rome MED 2021 - Mediterranean Dialogues, Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said the situation in Afghanistan needs everybody's help.

He said Qatar shares the concern of the international community about the political and security situation in Afghanistan, especially about the threat of Daesh and other terrorist organisations.

He warned that Afghanistan's instability will lead to destabilization of other countries besides having a dangerous effect on the West.
