In China, at least ninety-five people have lost their lives and more than hundred others have been injured after a major earthquake struck the mountainous region of Tibet.
According to data from the US Geological Survey, the earthquake which hit the mountainous region this morning had a magnitude of 7.1 and a depth of 10 kilometers. The area also experienced a series of aftershocks.
Tremors were felt in neighbouring Nepal and parts of India as well.
