The month of Ramadan is drawing closer and the people hope reduction in prices of basic commodities. Coming up to the people expectations, today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced Ramadan Package that includes distribution of free flour and provision of other basic commodities to the downtrodden segments of the society at subsidized rates. In the wake of  flashfloods in 2022, it became very difficult for the government to provide subsidy on daily commodities. However, the incumbent government is still doing its level best to provide relief to the poor people during the Holy month of Ramadan.

Islam raised the status of women equal to the men. In our religion, women have the right to express themselves, to give sincere advice, to enjoin what is good and shun the evil. Moreover, women have the right to own property, to buy and sell, to inherit, to give charity and to give gifts. It is not permissible for anyone to take a woman’s wealth without her consent.
