Pakistan Hajj Mission is taking proactive measures to provide healthy meal to the pilgrims.
Javed Iqbal reports from Makkah that to ensure the standard of food two catering companies were fined 4000 Riyals for failing to uphold food quality standards and neglecting their duty in providing satisfactory meals.
These catering companies are responsible for providing thrice a day food to Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah.
Chief Food Officer Makkah, Farooq Haider told that stringent food quality standards have been upheld to prioritize the contentment and wellbeing of the pilgrims throughout their Hajj journey.
He said currently a total of 13 catering companies are tasked with providing three daily meals to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims residing in nine sectors.
He further said with the help of Pakistani Moavineen measures are in place to maintain standards of food quality.
