Eighth death anniversary of scholar, writer and founder of Awami Tehreek, Rasool Bux Palijo is being observed today.

He wrote more than 40 books on numerous subjects, 26 of them were in Sindhi language, on topics of literature, politics, prison dairies, culture and poetry.

Rasool Bux Palejo was an active member of Sindhi Adabi Sanghat and had the credit of introducing literary festivals in rural areas of Sindh.

 He died on this day in 2018.
