
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said the provincial government is setting new records in the road sector through fast, transparent, and quality development work.
Chairing a meeting in Lahore to review the performance of the Communications and Works Department, she was informed that 1,129 roads, spanning 1,795 kilometers, have been completed in just 75 days at a cost of 30 billion rupees.
Officials said the projects were completed by field staff working in three shifts, resulting in savings of 11 billion rupees.
