Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi says culture can play a vital role in creating employment, promoting tourism, boosting exports and strengthening the national economy.

He expressed these views while launching "Naqoosh-i-Watan - A National Cultural Narrative" at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts in Islamabad.

The Minister for National Heritage said the initiative aims to strengthen Pakistan's cultural identity, preserve its rich heritage and promote national unity through a shared cultural narrative.

He said Naqoosh-i-Watan has been prepared in consultation with all provincial governments and welcomed public suggestions for its continuous improvement.
