Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja says Pakistan has laid the digital foundation and is rapidly building a robust digital ecosystem on top of it.

Addressing the LEAP 2026 technology event in Riyadh, she said Pakistan’s growing digital infrastructure and expanding technology sector have made the country one of the largest investment opportunities in the world.

The Minister for Information Technology said Pakistan has developed special technology zones for its companies that have tax-free status for the next ten years, emphasizing that this was done to make our companies globally competitive.
