Pakistan has called for strategic and forward-looking reforms to strengthen United Nations peacekeeping.

The remarks were made by Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Syed Haider Shah while speaking at the fourth Committee of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly on the comprehensive review of peacekeeping operations.

The Ambassador reaffirmed Pakistan’s longstanding commitment as a major troop-contributing country and host State.
