Overload's Farhad Humayun passes away at 42

Farhad Humayun, the founder and drummer of the iconic Pakistani band 'Overload' passed away today (Tuesday) at the age of 42.

He was laid to rest at Mian Meer Graveyard in Lahore this afternoon.

He was being treated for brain tumour and had undergone two major operations in Lahore and Dubai but was still suffering from it. The announcement of Farhad's death was made at the band's official Facebook page.

Farhad was also running a recording studio and live gig venue namely Riot Studio.

Farhad had been playing drums and guitar for almost two decades.   

Back in 2010, he launched an online track of himself singing verses of Sonnet 18 by William Shakespeare.
