Normalcy prevails in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir

Normalcy prevails in Muzaffarabad and Kohala as in other districts of Azad Kashmir.

Educational, business and social activities are continuing normally in Muzaffarabad.

Traffic on the Kohala Bridge in Azad Kashmir is flowing normally.

The important Kohala Bridge, which connects Pakistan with Azad Kashmir, is fully restored for traffic.

Additionally, all small and large markets and commercial centers in Kohala are open.

There is also normalcy in Rawalakot city of Azad Kashmir.

Miscreant elements associated with the banned Action Committee made a malicious attempt to disrupt the law and order situation in Rawalakot last evening. These elements were dispersed, and peace and order have been restored in the city.

Educational, commercial and social activities in Rawalakot are continuing as usual.

Azad Kashmir Police and other law enforcement agencies are ensuring the protection of citizens' lives and property, while maintaining the writ of the state.

Meanwhile, the Inspector General Police Azad Kashmir and Commissioner Muzaffarabad visited various areas of Muzaffarabad to review the law and order situation.

The Inspector General of Police expressed satisfaction over the security situation while interacting with police personnel and the public.

He appreciated the efforts of the police in ensuring peace and safeguarding the lives and property of the people.

During their meeting with the Inspector General, the people expressed satisfaction over the restoration of routine activities.
