A video has surfaced on social media showing violence against law enforcement personnel during an incident in Rawalakot on Sunday.
According to reports, the outlawed Joint Awami Action Committee carried out a series of coordinated attacks on police and other law enforcement agencies in Rawalakot. The video shows the violent assault as well as the desecration of the body of a martyred police official.
The incident has exposed what authorities describe as the violent and extremist nature of the banned outfit. India-backed Fitna Al-Khawarij has also issued statements in support of the outlawed Joint Awami Action Committee.
Meanwhile, anti-Pakistan social media networks operating from abroad are spreading misinformation and AI-generated content to promote a misleading narrative regarding the incident.
The support extended to the banned committee by Indian and other anti-Pakistan social media platforms has exposed their alleged links and intentions.
Experts say the desecration of dead bodies is a heinous act and clearly demonstrates that the committee has no regard for Islamic traditions, values and moral principles.
They further said that the open support extended by Fitna Al-Khawarij to the banned Joint Awami Action Committee reflects the frustration of its alleged handler, India, as New Delhi's attempts to create unrest and instability in Azad Kashmir have failed.
