Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik's wife Mushaal Hussein Mullick and her daughter Raziyah Sultana have appealed the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to save the Kashmiri leader from capital punishment.

They made the appeal in a letter presented at the office of the UN Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan.

In the letter, Yasin Malik's daughter said her father is the face of Kashmiris' non-violent political struggle for their most basic human right of self-determination.
