The 28th death anniversary of renowned television and radio artist Arsh-e-Munir is being observed today.

She was a broadcaster at Radio Pakistan Karachi and also acted in many television dramas.

Arsh-e-Munir was awarded with the President's Award for Pride of Performance in 1983 for her best performance in dramas.

She died on this day in 1998 in Karachi.
