Entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with armed forces: Hanif Abbasi

Lawmakers in the National Assembly today emphasized that Pakistan desires peace, but will defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty at all costs.

Taking the floor, Minister for Railways, Hanif Abbasi, said India is the biggest terrorist in the world. He said Pakistan has presented dossiers regarding Indian involvement in acts of terrorism inside Pakistan. He said India has also carried out assassinations in other countries as well. 

Hanif Abbasi said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces for defence of the homeland.

In his remarks, Sanjay Perwani said India is habitual of making baseless allegations against Pakistan, and the same occurred following the Pahalgam incident. He also highlighted the maltreatment and harassment of minorities in India.

Sadiq Memon paid tributes to the armed forces for giving a befitting response to the Indian aggression. He lauded the shooting down of five Indian fighter jets including three Rafales by Pakistan Air Force.

Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has said Pakistan’s armed forces are responding to Indian aggression in a befitting manner, demonstrating courage and strategic acumen.

Taking the floor, he condemned India’s cowardly attack on Pakistan’s civilian population.

The Law Minister also stressed the importance of national cohesion at this critical juncture. He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while speaking in the National Assembly, invited the opposition to come together to strengthen the country’s economy.

Others who spoke on the occasion included: Asad Qaiser, Shahid Ahmed, Sana Ullah Khan Mastikhel,   Nelson Azeem, Shazia Sobia, Shahram Khan, Ibrar Ahmed, Abdul Aleem Khan,  Mobeen Arif, Fateh Ullah Khan, Anwar ul Haq Chaudhary,  Jamal Ahsan, Ali Qasim Gillani,  Rana Ansar, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Shandana Gulzar, Amjad Ali Khan, Shamsher Ali, Changaze Ahmad Khan, Sabheen Ghoury, Muhammad Usman Awaisi, Saad Baloch, Yousuf Khan, Syed Raza Ali Gilani, Shafqat Abbas, Zartaj Gul and Zubair Khan.

The House will now meet again on Monday at 5 p.m.
