President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the security forces for killing fourteen Indian-sponsored terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in the Naal area of Khuzdar District, Balochistan.
In his message, the President expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of Lance Havildar Muhammad Abbass and said that the sacrifices of the brave sons of the motherland will not go in vain.
He said the timely and effective operation, which foiled the terrorists' nefarious designs, reflects the professional capabilities of state institutions and the nation's unwavering determination.
Asif Ali Zardari commended the courage and sacrifices of the security forces and said that operations against anti-state elements are essential to safeguarding national security.
In his message, the Prime Minister also paid tribute to Pakistan Army's Lance Havildar Muhammad Abbass, who embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting terrorists during the operation.
He prayed for the elevation of the martyr's ranks and extended his condolences to the bereaved family.
He said security forces are achieving significant successes against terrorism under the vision of 'Azm-e-Istehkam'.
Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the government's resolve to eliminate all forms and manifestation of terrorism from the country.
