Pakistan dispatches relief goods for people of Afghanistan

On the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, one C-130 aircraft of Pakistan Air Force carrying relief goods and humanitarian assistance for the people of Afghanistan landed at Kabul airport on Thursday. 

Pakistan's Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmad Khan and senior official of Public Health Haji Omer received the relief package which comprised around ten ton of flour, 1.5 ton of ghee and huge quantity of medicines.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Mansoor Ahmad Khan said this process of providing relief and humanitarian assistance on part of Pakistan to the Afghan people will continue in the weeks and months ahead.

The Ambassador said that another C-130 aircraft carrying relief goods will land in Kandahar airport tomorrow. The very next day, a consignment of relief goods will reach Khost.

Mansoor Ahmad Khan said that Torkham and Chaman borders will also be used to extend the humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
