Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, has stressed the need for close coordination among the parliamentary parties on matters of national interest.

He was talking to Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, who called on him in Islamabad today [Wednesday].

The Deputy Prime Minister underscored the importance of a strong and effective Parliament in strengthening Pakistan's democratic institutions.

During the meeting, they discussed matters related to parliamentary affairs and the pending government and private members' legislative business in the National Assembly.
