Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved expansion of electric bus service at tehsil level across the province.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she said the service will start from January next year with 1,500 electric buses planned for tehsils.

The meeting was informed that government aims to have 3,000 electric buses operational across the province by June next year.
