Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve

Smog and fog is likely to develop in plain areas of Punjab during morning/night hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad four degree centigrade, Lahore ten, Karachi fourteen, Peshawar six, Quetta and Muzaffarabad minus two, Gilgit zero and Murree five degree centigrade.    

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag and Shopian while cold and dry weather in Leh, Jammu and Baramulla.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Anatnag, Shopian and Baramulla zero degree centigrade, Jammu eleven, Leh minus eight and Pulwama minus one degree centigrade.
