Dense fog likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab, upper Sindh

Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during the next twelve hours.

However, light rain with light snowfall over hills is expected in Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Cold and dry weather is expected in other parts of the country while very cold in upper areas and North Balochistan.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad and Peshawar five degree centigrade, Lahore four, Karachi eight, Quetta minus six, Gilgit minus two, Murree zero and  Muzaffarabad two degree centigrade.    

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of light rain and snow fall is likely to prevail in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramulla and Leh while cold and dry weather in Jammu. 

Temperature recorded this morning, Srinagar minus two degree centigrade, Jammu eight, Leh minus twelve, Pulwama and Baramulla zero, Anantnag minus one and Shopian one degree centigrade.
