In Afghanistan, three people, including a journalist-turned spokesman for the country's public protection force, Zia Wadan and his two colleagues, were killed in an IED blast in the capital Kabul on Sunday.

An Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman said a vehicle carrying Zia Wadan was targeted during morning rush hours in the city.
