January 10, 2022

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Kulgam district, today (Monday).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were martyred by the troops and paramilitary forces during a violent cordon and search operation in Husainpora area of the district.

The troops also damaged at least one house in the operation. They sealed all entry and exit points and conducted house-to-house searches. The authorities suspended internet service in the area.

In a message from New Delhi’s Tihar jail released in Srinagar, All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt  rejected outright India’s ‘integral mantra’ about the internationally recognised disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

He condemned systematic genocide, extrajudicial killings and illegal detentions of innocent people by the brutal Indian forces in the territory.

Meanwhile, posters have again appeared in Srinagar and other areas of the Kashmir valley demanding of the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per relevant resolutions of the World Body to save more lives from being lost. They were reading slogans like “Go India Go Back and Free Kashmir".

In India, several BJP leaders from their verified twitter handles gave genocide threats and the ‘repetition of 1984’ like Sikh massacres over self-created risk to the life of Indian Prime Minister Modi during his recent visit to Punjab.

They also asked for “expelling every Sikh and Punjabi from the Indian army. Interestingly, Punjab, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi in a media interview categorically refuted to take any action against the protesting Sikh farmers during the Modi’s visit to the Punjab state.
