Resident Representative UNDP Mr. Knut Ostby called on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Friday.

Ishaq Dar thanked UNDP for being a great partner in taking flood relief measures in Pakistan.

He appreciated the combined efforts of UNDP and Planning Division for preparing a constructive plan for rehabilitation and reconstruction of flood-affected areas.

He further requested the Finance Minister to involve the Private Sector to accelerate and catch-up with Sustainable Development Goals related projects.

The Finance Minister extended full support in this regard and appreciated the key role of UNDP as development partner in achieving SDGs.

He reiterated the commitment of government of Pakistan on achievement of SDGs.

The Finance Minister thanked Mr. Knut Ostby for his support and cooperation.
