President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended felicitations to Pakistani player Noor Zaman for winning the Under-23 World Squash Championship.

In their separate statements today, they said the entire nation is proud of Noor Zaman's success and for bringing global recognition to Pakistan with his outstanding performance.

The Prime Minister also expressed the confidence that Pakistan will reclaim its lost glory in the squash.

In a social media post, Shehbaz Sharif said he was delighted to see our homegrown talent, Noor Zaman, storm into the men's final of the Under-23 World Squash Championships with an astounding 3-0 victory.

He said also commended the great performance by Muhammad Ammad and Amna Fayyaz in the plate events.
