Dr Fazal-ur-Rehman (IR Expert) It is a very welcoming step that Afghanistan expressed willingness to become a part of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor project and this is what we were talking about in the past. There is no doubt that CPEC needs to expand through which we will have regional connectivity and easy access to Central Asian States including Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and others. Afghanistan is a main regional stakeholder and its role in the CPEC will unleash regional cooperation and connectivity. The China Pakistan Economic Corridor project is going to benefit all the regional countries and is important for regional integration as well.
