Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has expressed deep concern over violence in Myanmar.
In a statement, the ASEAN leaders called for immediate cessation of all forms of violence and use of force to create conducive environment for safe and timely delivery of humanitarian assistance and inclusive national dialogues.
They condemned a recent attack on a convoy of diplomats delivering humanitarian aid in the country.
Myanmar's junta has shunned international criticism and refused to engage with its opponents.
