In Mali, a peacekeeper of the United Nations was killed and seven others seriously injured in an attack.

In a statement, the UN mission head El-Ghassim Wane said 190 peacekeepers have lost their lives and hundreds more have been wounded since United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission deployment in 2013 to stabilize the country.
