In the ICC men's T-20 World Cup 2024, India defeated Pakistan by six runs in New York.

Batting first, India scored one hundred and nineteen runs for all out in nineteen overs.

In reply, Pakistan could score one hundred and thirteen runs for loss of seven wickets in allotted twenty overs.

Rishabh Pant was the top-scorer for India with 42 runs while Axar Patel scored 20 and Rohit Sharma scored 13 runs.

For Pakistan, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah took three wickets each, while Mohammad Amir and Shaheen Shah Afridi took two and one wickets respectively.

In another match, Scotland defeated Oman by seven wickets at North Sound.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh will face South Africa in New York on Monday. The match will start at half past seven in the evening.
