The historic three-day Shandur Polo Festival kicks off in the scenic Shandur valley of Chitral District tomorrow.

According to the Culture and Tourism Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, all necessary arrangements have been finalized for holding the festival in a befitting manner.

The Shandur Polo Festival is considered the country’s largest traditional polo festival which features thrilling matches between the teams of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan, drawing thousands of spectators to the historic event.

These Polo matches will be played at the highest polo ground in Shandoor located at an altitude of 12500 feet.
