
Benazir Income Support Programme, the United Nations World Food Programme, the United Nations Children's Fund and the World Health Organization, have announced a three-year extension of the Benazir Nashonuma Programme.
Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme, Rubina Khalid has said the signing of Benazir Nashonuma Programme for three more years is not merely the continuation of a programme, but it is a renewed national commitment to giving every child a healthier start in life and every mother the opportunity to build a better future for her family.
In her remarks, World Food Programme Representative and Country Director in Pakistan, Anita Hirsch, said the results of the Benazir Nashonuma Programme are extremely promising for the prevention of child malnutrition.
