A meeting of the High-Level Committee overseeing preparations for the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women was held in Islamabad today with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair.

The Committee reviewed the final preparations for the two-day conference to be commenced in Islamabad on Sunday.

The Secretary, Human Rights, gave a detailed briefing on the arrangements for the conference programme, delegate facilitation, protocol, security, logistics, media arrangements, and inter-ministerial coordination, to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the Conference.

Ishaq Dar appreciated the relevant officials for their hard work and directed them to ensure that delegations arriving from around the world to attend this important event enjoy their stay and are extended the best of Pakistani hospitality.
