Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan represented Pakistan at the solemn funeral service of King Harald-V of Norway in Oslo.

During the official proceedings, the Federal Minister was granted an audience with King Haakon-VIII.

On behalf of the President, the Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan, Abdul Aleem Khan extended profound condolences to the King, the Royal Family, and the people of Norway.

He conveyed Pakistan's heartfelt solidarity with Norway during this period of national mourning and expressed deep respect for the enduring legacy of the late monarch.

On the sidelines of the solemn funeral ceremony, the Federal Minister held high-level interactions with key cabinet members, local leadership, and international dignitaries.

He met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Culture and Equality of Norway Ms. Lubna Jaffery, Minister of International Development Åsmund Aukrust, State Secretary of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik, Mayor of Oslo Ms. Anne Lindboe, and Minister of Finance of Norway and former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

During these meetings, the Minister for Communications expressed condolences on behalf of Pakistan and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.

The Norwegian leadership appreciated Pakistan's participation at the highest official level during this period of national remembrance, reaffirming the shared intent to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.
