Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired an inter-ministerial meeting in Islamabad today to review preparations for the upcoming 8th Session of the Pakistan-Oman Joint Ministerial Commission.  

The meeting reviewed the agenda, bilateral agreements, and arrangements for the Joint Commission session to be co-chaired by Ishaq Dar and the Foreign Minister of Oman.        

The Joint Ministerial Commission will focus on deepening cooperation in trade, investment, industry, agriculture, finance, oil and gas, labour, consular affairs, security, defence, climate change, civil aviation, education, media, and culture.

Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of the Joint Ministerial Commission in strengthening bilateral relations, directing all stakeholders to ensure thorough preparations and effective follow-up to secure tangible outcomes.
